Making Money with Articles: Article Directories

Article directories are websites that house free articles. These articles are usually put there by whoever owns the copyright to them as a promotion method. Each article has the owners byline placed under it so that those who eventually read the article will know who wrote it (or at least who owns it) and will be able to get in contact with or visit their website for further information.

Articles directories are a great place to put your articles so that they will make you money. By using this method, people who are interested in your product or service will see your article, view you as an expert in the subject, and will visit your website. Even if you cannot write or do not have any knowledge on the subject on which you are promoting (for example for you run an affiliate website), you can always hire a writer to do the work for you. Getting quality articles written will be expensive up front, but they will pay for themselves in no time, either through affiliate sales or selling your own services, and everything from then on is pure profit.

Let’s take a real life example. Imagine that you are an accountant working from home. You write an article on an accounting topic and place it on various article directories. Those who are looking for the subject you wrote about will read your article, see that you have the knowledge and skill that is needed to do a job for them, and visit your website or contact you via e-mail. Your article just gained you a new client who may use your services regularly, but will definitely give you a nice profit at least once.

Furthermore, since you have posted it on a free article directory, others who have affiliate websites about accounting will inevitably use your article for their website. Since they must attach your byline to it, this will bring you even more exposure for every website that re-posts your article. This because you will be benefiting of off the traffic that they get to their website.

There are numerous article directories out there for you to utilize. Your bet best is to put a copy of each of your articles on every one for maximum exposure. It will eventually help to bring more traffic and customers to your website, which will lead to new orders and more profit.

Depression and prozac

Prozac

Generic name: Fluoxetine hydrochloride
Why is Prozac prescribed?

Prozac is prescribed for the treatment of depression—that is, a continuing depression

that interferes with daily functioning. The symptoms of major depression often include

changes in appetite, sleep habits, and mind/body coordination; decreased sex drive;

increased fatigue; feelings of guilt or worthlessness; difficulty concentrating; slowed

thinking; and suicidal thoughts.

Prozac is also prescribed to treat obsessive-compulsive disorder. An obsession is a

thought that won't go away; a compulsion is an action done over and over to relieve

anxiety. The drug is also used in the treatment of bulimia (binge-eating followed by

deliberate vomiting). It has also been used to treat other eating disorders and obesity.

In addition, Prozac is used to treat panic disorder, including panic associated with

agoraphobia (a severe fear of being in crowds or public places). People with panic

disorder usually suffer from panic attacks—feelings of intense fear that develop

suddenly, often for no reason. Various symptoms occur during the attacks, including a

rapid or pounding heartbeat, chest pain, sweating, trembling, and shortness of breath.

In children and adolescents, Prozac is used to treat major depression and

obsessive-compulsive disorder.

Prozac Weekly is approved for treating major depression.

Under the brand name Sarafem, the active ingredient in Prozac is also prescribed for the

treatment of premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD), formerly known as premenstrual

syndrome (PMS). Symptoms of PMDD include mood problems such as anxiety, depression,

irritability or persistent anger, mood swings, and tension. Physical problems that

accompany PMDD include bloating, breast tenderness, headache, and joint and muscle pain.

Symptoms typically begin 1 to 2 weeks before a woman's menstrual period and are severe

enough to interfere with day-to-day activities and relationships.

Prozac belongs to the class of drugs called selective serotonin re-uptake inhibitors

(SSRIs). Serotonin is one of the chemical messengers believed to govern moods.

Ordinarily, it is quickly reabsorbed after its release at the junctures between nerves.

Re-uptake inhibitors such as Prozac slow this process, thereby boosting the levels of

serotonin available in the brain.
Most important fact about Prozac

Serious, sometimes fatal, reactions have been known to occur when Prozac is used in

combination with other antidepressant drugs known as MAO inhibitors; and when Prozac is

discontinued and an MAO inhibitor is started. Never take Prozac with one of these drugs

or within at least 14 days of discontinuing therapy with one of them; and allow 5 weeks

or more between stopping Prozac and starting an MAO inhibitor. Be especially cautious if

you have been taking Prozac in high doses or for a long time.

In addition, Prozac should never be combined with thioridazine due to the risk of

life-threatening drug interactions; and a minimum of 5 weeks should be allowed between

stopping Prozac and starting Mellaril.

If you are taking any prescription or nonprescription drugs, notify your doctor before

taking Prozac.
How should you take Prozac?

Prozac should be taken exactly as prescribed by your doctor.

Prozac usually is taken once or twice a day. To be effective, it should be taken

regularly. Make a habit of taking it at the same time you do some other daily activity.

It may be 4 weeks before you feel any relief from your depression, but the drug's effects

should last about 9 months after a 3-month treatment regimen. For obsessive-compulsive

disorder, the full effect may take 5 weeks to appear.

    * If you miss a dose...
Take the forgotten dose as soon as you remember. If several hours have passed, skip

the dose. Never try to "catch up" by doubling the dose.

    * Storage instructions...
      Store at room temperature.

What side effects may occur?

Side effects cannot be anticipated. If any develop or change in intensity, inform your

doctor as soon as possible. Only your doctor can determine if it is safe for you to

continue taking Prozac.

    * Side effects may include:
Abnormal dreams, abnormal ejaculation, abnormal vision, anxiety, diarrhea,

diminished sex drive, dizziness, dry mouth, flu-like symptoms, flushing, gas, headache,

impotence, insomnia, itching, loss of appetite, nausea, nervousness, rash, sex-drive

changes, sinusitis, sleepiness, sore throat, sweating, tremors, upset stomach, vomiting,

weakness, yawning

Why should Prozac not be prescribed?

If you are sensitive to or have ever had an allergic reaction to Prozac or similar drugs,

you should not take this medication. Make sure that your doctor is aware of any drug

reactions that you have experienced.

Do not take this drug while using an MAO inhibitor (see "Most important fact about this

drug"). You should also not use Prozac if you are taking thioridazine. Likewise, do not

start taking thioridazine within 5 weeks of stopping Prozac. If you need to buy prozac you

cand type in your browser our pharmacy http://4rx.com.Have a good day with the right

antidepression treatment.

rimonabant diet pill

Sanofi-Synthelabo, a French Pharmaceutical Company created Rimonabant (Acomplia and possibly Zimulti) which is a new drug treatment for obesity and possibly other ailments.
This diet pill was officially approved in Britain on June 28th 2006, which could lead the way to having the FDA approve it in the United States by mid summer, 2007.But no guarantees, The FDA has strick policies regarding new medications on the market. Acomplia (Rimonabant or Zimulti) diet pills offer hope for obese individuals, especially where other treatments had little affect or the side effects where too much to handle. This medication (as any) obviously does not come without some potential side effects.
Rimonabant works differently than other weight-loss pills, and has other potential benefits. Studies also show that it increases levels of HDL (good cholesterol) while at the same time reducing LDL (bad cholesterol). It could also possibly be used for smoking cessation, although not officially approved for that purpose (yet). Basically, Rimonabant suppresses ones appetite. It works by blocking a cellular receptor in the endocannabinoid system of the brain, believed to influence the regulation of body weight, glucose, and fat metabolism. In doing so it is believed that this regulation then reduces the craving to eat more.

Clinical Studies have shown that 33% of people taking Rimonabant lost 10% of body weight and kept their weight down for two years which is extremely newsworthy as no other diet drug has accomplished this for so long a period.
It also holds huge potential for the people wanting to kick the smoking habit and ‘may’ help curb other substance addictions such as cocaine, marijuana, and alcohol.
While FDA held up Sanofi’s diet drug Rimonabant(Acomplia/Zimulti),the Merck’s MK-0364(Taranbant) is currently in phase-3 which is as effective for weight loss as rimonabant having some side effects.
The interim results of phase-3 trial of Taranabant have not been reported by the Merck. These results could be different from the anecdotal report. In the trial it was found that the weight loss pill was well tolerated in extensive phase-2.The Merck is looking forward FDA approval for it next year.
Pfizer, which also contains CB-1 receptor antagonist in phase-3 trials has not moved forward with a name which is known as CP-945598.
In June, 2007 there will be a meeting of FDA advisory panel on rimonabant about the safety issues of drugs which affect receptors in the brain. If you are interested in trying this diet pill i recommend the original site from where you can buy rimonabant and many other weight loss pills.

SEO Tools Are Real Time Savers

Search engine optimization requires many hours of research before the process actually begins. SEO tools are a great time saver, often offering information and data in seconds as opposed to hours of manually checking for specific SEO related information.

Though an SEO tool offers an opportunity to save time in gaining needed data quickly, tools do not replace the need to become familiar and experienced with SEO guidelines. Before an SEO tool can prove to be useful, one must first become accustomed to each of the major search engines and their algorithms to best understand and implement the data that you are researching into your own SEO project.

Example tools that help a webmaster safe time are the sandbox detection tool, ranking tool, back link tool, keyword popularity tool. Search engine seo tools are tools that can make a web master successful in achieving information in a short period of time.

There are many seo tools that can be found on the internet. I would suggest that you research each tool web site and make sure that there are no restrictions to that particular tool. Check for any copy rights before downloading a tool.

More SEO tools can be found by search on Google for SEO Tools.

Getting New Web Hosting Service for Your Web Site

Due to Various inefficiencies of Old Web Hosting provider like poor technical support, down web server, inability of old provider to met with your requirements, expensive web hosting service, an Online Business owner decided to go for a new Web Hosting provider. Because of all above-mentioned and many more not in the list you would opt for new web hosting service. So the next step is to transfer your web site from current web host to new web host which can be done by following the under mentioned steps.

Transferring of Schedule For transferring the old web hosting, planning should be done in advance, at least one month before so as to ensure smooth transfer, as transferring in less than one month can led to inaccessibility of your web site. Registering new web hosting service.

Once the above step is complete, user must go for a new web hosting service and must sign it accordingly within 24 hours so as to enable new account earliest.

Taking Files Backup.

As soon as you created a new web hosting account, you should take back up of all your web files for the new provider. Generally you already have all files of your web site on your local computer still it is beneficial to backup all your files from old web server.

Further including HTML files, backup of any script file, database file and even of server logs file should be taken. Thereafter create a directory structure similar to directory structure on web server and then load the file in their respective directory.

Uploading of files

You will receive a notification email from your new web-hosting provider after the notification of your new web hosting account. Information needed to set up a website including FTP server information all will be provided within that email. With the help of that FTP information user can now FTP his new web-hosting server and can upload all his files. First the user should create a directory structure and then can upload all his files in their respective directories. User can also install any script file or databases if used in his website and also should setup his email accounts with the help of administration panel.

After finishing of uploading of all the files and installation of script files or databases temporary URL can be used to test the new site. This temporary URL can be obtained from through notification email from new web hosting provider.

Testing of new website

The new website can be tested online by using temporarily URL directory. As different web hosting server require different server environment to work, that's why user needs to verify all the scripts like CGI, Perl if they are working as per the requirement or not. Further all the hyperlinks should be tested in the normal web pages so as to confirm that no broken links are there. Your website hosted on the old web hosting provider is continued to be operational, even when you are testing through the temporary URL directory.

Transferring of domain name

After finishing of testing new website on the temporary URL and verification of its perfect execution, next step is to contact the new domain name registrar so as to change the old domain name server to point the new DNS of the web hosting provider. There after the user will get DNS information through email after he finishes the successful registration with new web hosting provider and also would get the information from website of his new web hosting provider. The purpose of Domain name servers is to control how to resolve the domain name. Commonly the domain names are in following format:

NS1.THE-NEW-WEB-HOSTING.COM
NS2.THE-NEW-WEB-HOSTING.COM

Some domain name registrar requires the IP addresses of the DNS. In this case you have to provide the IP addresses of your new DNS. For example:

NS1: 216.193.194.212
NS2: 216.193.207.106

DNS record to change and propagate through all the WHOIS servers takes typically 24 to 72 hours. Whois tools can be use on Internet to monitor the status of DNS transfer. New DNS will be displayed once the transfer is complete. Even minor modifications are possible like the user can upload his own file or picture to the new web-hosting server. When the user checks his homepage through the normal domain name he can notice the new home page, which makes sure that transfer of DNS is successful.

Final Testing Now, your website on the new web hosting provider is officially transferred and online. You should repeat all the tests to ensure it is fully functional. Thereafter you can go ahead to terminate your old web hosting account after the final confirmation is received.
